The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the administrative and legal foundations of public governance in the field of defense and national security of Ukraine. It is established that national security and defense are key prerequisites for the formation of a democratic state governed by the rule of law, which is based on the principles of legality, respect for human rights and freedoms, as well as the mutual responsibility for the individual, society, and the state.

The article systematically examines some problematic issues of legal regulation of public relations in the global information space, in particular, concerning the provision of information security and cybersecurity in the information sphere in the conditions of global digitalization of society, especially concerning the use of information technologies and artificial intelligence technologies.

The article discusses current challenges and conceptual approaches to teaching information disciplines with the integration of knowledge about the security of information systems and complexes in higher education. Abstract.
