This article will discuss the peculiarities of work and creation of stories on Lviv Television. As is known, Lviv Television has its own unique history and features that distinguish it from other regional TV channels in Ukraine. This study examines the issues of the peculiarities of television in general, as well as the specifics of Lviv Television in particular. The research material reveals the methods of preparing and presenting news by journalists of Lviv Television in our time. The modern themes of Lviv Television stories are also considered.

The content of online media was analyzed for citations of the content that was primarily broadcast during the national news marathon. The analysis allows us to trace the popularity of the news marathon in the second year of the large-scale war among information resources as a primary source of important news and theses of fundamental social importance. The importance of the study is due to the decline in the ratings of the only news marathon among Ukrainians. According to the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, as of December 2023, only 43 % of respondents trusted it [3].

The article is devoted to the study of popular global news telegram-channels, their impact on society, and the identification of advantages and disadvantages of this media format. The article examines prominent news channels such as The New York Times, BBC News, The Guardian, CNN and Reuters. Their features and differences are analyzed, the positive and negative aspects of using Telegram channels to receive news and information are described.

In the article, the author examines the problems associated with increasing the relevance of television news programs in the context of intense competition between television and such modern media as news feeds, blogs, social networks, YouTube channels, which, due to their technical capabilities, can provide higher operational efficiency. presentation of news content compared to traditional televison news releases.

The article explores the coverage of topics of ecology in the news programs of Ukrainian television. Based on the study of news releases on the all-Ukrainian TV channel “1+1” and the specialized TV channel “ECO TV”, it emphasizes the importance of media discourse for the promotion of ecological knowledge in order to form a general environmental culture, environmental awareness and pro-ecological behavior. In general, there is a segment of scientific content in the modern Ukrainian environmental discourse, but its volume is insignificant compared to entertainment.

In modern Internet media, the function of searching for material by the words used in the title is added to its the nominal, informational, appellate, and advertising functions; often the headline is the only read element of the publication. News headlines create a kind of media picture of the world.

In the article the concept of information warfare is analyzed, it is also done comparative analysis of definitions of information warfare and information confrontation, the features and essence of these concepts are determined. Based on the analysis of 63 publications in Russian 70 Internet media of different directions, it was concluded that the media in these media had a negative attitude to the events in Ukraine and the general themes of the materials, and their ideological orientation has not changed for today.

The results of scientific research concerning features of regional news of Luhansk and Donetsk regions are examined in this article as well as empirical analysis of possibilities of TV channels of beforementioned regions and monitoring of expectations of recipients who live on the edge between the territories occupied by Russia and the territories under control of Ukraine.

The following aspect is examined in this article: the concept of creating news on regional TV channels consists of informing about all spheres of life organically combined with regional, national and universal values.
