Features of Organizing the Work of the Customs Department of the Enterprise Based on the Distributed Office Model

The article examines the essence of the category of solving the problems of organizing the work of the customs department on the basis of the distributed office model. Managing the effectiveness of the organization is one of the main functions of the professional activities of the newest Ukrainian managers. Managing the effectiveness of the organization is a continuous process that logically covers the actions and procedures of the linear manager in a single chain according to the logic of meaningful activity: from the formulation of goals to control the achieved results. The main consequence of the evolution of performance management over the last decade is to focus not only on goals but also on means.

Formation of Greek Catholic Church Organizational Structure in United States: Parishes as Centers of National and Cultural Life of Ukrainian Emigration (1884–1914)

The study focus is given to the initial stage of formation of Greek Catholic Church in the United States. Certain common features, peculiarities, difficulties and conditions of parishes forming process are analysed. New criteria for morecomplete study are suggested in view of the historiography problem of parishes establishment dating. The statistics, geography, dates and dynamics of main parishes, general amount of churches, priests and parishioners are explored in the paper on the basis of historical sources.

Formation of positive corporate culture of organization

In the process of functioning of the organization there are not predictable situations, the result of which is the uncertainty of further strategic development. At the same time, most organizations are experiencing processes for the formation of new rules, procedures and standards of conduct. In other words, we are talking about the formation of a corporate culture. At the same time, the latter is an effective form of adaptation of the organization to the new conditions of management.

Scientific interpretation of the category of effectiveness

Scientific approaches to defining the essence of the category of effectiveness are studied. In  terms  of  the  systems  approach,  the  structure-forming  factors  of  the  organization’s effectiveness  are  substantiated.  It  is  shown  that  the  identified  factors  and  criteria  of effectiveness are the basis for creation of the organization’s effectiveness control system.
