The association of physical properties of deep reservoirs with the geomagnetic field and fault-block tectonics in the Hlynsko-Solokhivskyi oil-and-gas region

Purpose of the study. To study physical properties of the reservoir rocks of Semyrenkivske field in the Hlynsko-Solokhivskyi oil and gas region (OGR) of the Dnipro-Donets Aulacogene with the aim of evaluating their filtration-capacitive properties as well as to justify the relationship of oil and gas fields with sources of local magnetic anomalies that occur during the passage of hydrocarbons. The research methodology consi

Paleohydrodynamic factor of the formation of the hydrocarbon deposits of the north-western part of the outer zone of the Pre-Carpathian foredeep

Paleohydrodynamic schemes of the Badenian-Sarmatian deposits of the north-western part of the Outer zone of the Pre-Carpathian foredeep are built on the basis of paleohydrodynamic reconstruction of paleopressures of formation waters of elision stage of sedimentary basin. Results of paleohydrodynamic reconstructions have demonstrated that the most part of the explored gas fields of the region is localized in the limits of the marked areas of inherited pressure minima. Comparison paleo- and modern hydrodynamic situation enable us to draw conclusion about conditions of field formation.

Geological-petrophysical criteria of prospecting for hydrocarbon deposits

In this paper, we discuss basic geological-petrophysical criteria used in prospecting for hydrocarbon deposits at prospective complexes: typical geological-petrophysical sections, capacity-filtration models, thermobaric parameters. Analysis of those criteria is directed at producing the estimation of oil and gas in the parts of oil- and gas-bearing provinces or at the individual prospective sites.

Anomalous dynamics of electromagnetic fields on the Peremyshlianska oil and gas perspective area

The experimental field geoelectric observations on the Peremyshlyanska oil and gas perspective area are done. The anomalous daily dynamics of electromagnetic fields using the TEM method is detecting. As a result of observations the anomalous zone is distinguished. It correlates with the oil and gas perspective zones which are distinguished by other methods (seismics, geochemistry, gravimetry).

New promising areas, deposits, and types of hydrocarbon traps in the thrust areas under the Ukrainian Carpathians

A new area is suggested for hydrocarbon explorations in the margin shaft of the Eurasian platform, in the Transcarpathians. The productive systems: Devonian, Carboniferous, Jurassic, Cretaceous, Paleogene, Neogene. Traps of various types are possible.
