Density model of the Earth crust of the Ukrainian Carpathians along the PANCAKE profile

The purpose of the work is the analysis and geological-tectonic interpretation of the anomalous gravity field of the Ukrainian Carpathians and adjacent territories, as well as the construction of a density model of the Earth's crust and upper mantle according to the international PANCAKE seismic profile. The need to build a density model along the PANCAKE profile is due to the significant interest of a number of geologists and geophysicists in the results of seismic research along this profile. It is also caused by certain discrepancies in the seismological models of different authors.

The wave thermoconvections process into Earth’s litosphere

The very important to develop geodynamical models of the Earth’s structure defining corresponding state equations and flow equations for the fragments of mantle with big vis-cosity and inhomogeneous density distribution and nonlinear interaction with other frag-ments of the mantle and the crust. It is substantiated the importance and advisability of transition to generalized models of medium and processes which define the dependence of geophysical and geodynamical processes from thermodynamical parameters of Earth’s crust.

Impact assessment and tereyniv sutur to modern crustal movements in the Carpatho-Balkans of the GPS-measurements and geological-geophysical data

Velocities of displacements of permanent GPS stations, located in Carpathian and Balkans region are computed. As a result directions and velocities of regional and local geodynamic movements are obtained. The estimation of the influence tereynov and suture to the modern tectonic activitythe earth's crust in the region.

Complex geological-geophysical model of the Western Donbass lithosphere

The comparison of the geology-geophysical models of the crust of the Western Donbass makes it possible to obtain new data about the bottom of the earth crust, to marks out a reduced velocity in the middle earth crust part in joints  area of Donbass and the Voronezh massif and data of another features of the lithosphere structure.

Reflection of the Eastern Carpatians tectonic in thermal field

Heat flow density changes from 35-40 mW/m2 in the south-western part of East-European Craton and the Carpathian foredeep to 50-60 mW/m2 in the Outer Carpathians and to 80-120 mW/m2 in the Pannonian basin. Several levels of thermal field reflect main stages of tectonic evolution and feature of lithosphere structure. High heat flow anomaly was created by Cenozoic geodynamic processes related to collision of the European plate and Alcape microplate.
