Family violence: problems of counterfeater

Problems of combating domestic violence are considered. It is noted that the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention and Counteraction to Domestic Violence" establishes a comprehensive approach to combating domestic violence. According to the law, the list of specially authorized bodies in the field of prevention and counteraction to domestic violence is exhaustive. 

Authorized units of the National Police of Ukraine are one of the bodies entrusted with the functions of implementing measures in the field of preventing and combating domestic violence.The Law of Ukraine "On Prevention and Counteraction to Domestic Violence" defines their powers. This law provides for special measures to combat domestic violence. The problems of counteracting domestic violence of the authorized units of the National Police of Ukraine are analyzed and the ways of their solution are suggested. It is concluded that one of the means of preventing and combating domestic violence is the adoption of the Law "On Prevention and Counteraction to Domestic Violence". 

However, in practice there is still a problem with the application of this legislation, as one of the main problems remains the detection of this negative phenomenon and the response of law enforcement agencies.It is suggested that the ways to solve this problem are a high level of public awareness of the adopted legislation on preventing and combating domestic violence, creating special systems for removing family members who have committed domestic violence, providing victims with temporary safe accommodation, responding as soon as possible. police authorities to seek help from individuals through domestic violence, increase the level of professional and legal training of police officers, which can help improve the indifference of law enforcement officials, increase the desire to restore justice as a result of their activities.
