Evaluation of Approaches to Forming the Strategic Potential of an Enterprise

The features of the formation of the strategic potential of enterprises in complex and unpredictable conditions of war are considered. The main principles, approaches and methods of forming the strategic potential of enterprises are presented. The features, advantages and disadvantages of using a resource, effective, systemic, knowledge and innovation-based approach, based on competitive advantage, as well as an approach based on change management are studied. The factors and conditions of the external and internal environment are assessed, as well as the enterprise must take into account when forming its strategic potential. The directions of forming the strategic potential of the enterprise are identified, taking into account the structure of this indicator.
The purpose of the article is to search for directions and approaches to forming the strategic potential of enterprises that are forced to function and develop in complex conditions of war. The implementation of this goal requires solving the following tasks: analysis of existing principles and approaches to forming the strategic potential of the enterprise and search for directions and methods for increasing the indicator of the strategic potential of the enterprise.
To achieve the goal of the study, the article uses a set of scientific methods, in particular, comparative analysis, abstract-logical method and other methods of systematization and generalization - for the analysis of approaches to the formation of strategic potential, problem-oriented - for the identification of the main problems of the formation of strategic potential of modern enterprises in the difficult conditions of today.
As a result of the study, directions for the formation of strategic potential of enterprises were proposed, based on the study of ways and means of strengthening their positions in the market in the long term. Systematic work in the above directions will create an opportunity for the enterprise to prepare for the occurrence of random events and unforeseen changes in the future. This will allow to provide the enterprise with a high level of strategic potential, form the ability to function and develop, remain resistant to random changes in the external environment and promptly respond to such changes.
The results of the study may be of interest to managers, employees of analytical departments and strategic planning departments of Ukrainian enterprises working on the formation of strategic potential in difficult war conditions.
