Purpose. The action of the tools for economic protection of the enterprise is aimed at ensuring the state of economic security, characterized by the absence of threats to the external and internal environment. In the context of globalization and development of international economic relations, protection of economic interests and processes of enterprises is aimed at maintaining its stable function, protection of intellectual property, guaranteeing the inviolability of property, protection of information and interests of stakeholders in general and more.

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to develop a strategy for improving the innovation of domestic industrial enterprises in modern conditions. The basis for solving this problem is a deep retrospective analysis of innovation in Ukraine in terms of investment sources and areas of expenditure on innovation of industrial enterprises.

The social and ecological factors of sustainable development concept, connection of economic growth with social development are studied. The major social and ecological problems of the transition of the national economy of Ukraine on the principles of sustainable development are analysed.

The paper considers and analyzes quantitative and financial performance of state target programs for the period from 2008 to 2014. The common characteristic of the use of the national program target management to respond in the most significant areas of globalization influences.

Problem setting. In general, the current level of integration and globalization processes requires a significant optimization of the existing transport system and its maximum adaptation to the requirements of European standards for the provision of transport services for the movement of passengers within urban agglomerations. The elimination of vertical state planning, financing and control in the field of public transport has caused a kind of chaos in the transport sector, because a new model of management and development has not been formed.

Problem setting. Formation of effective local self-government, which would be in line with the basic principles of the European Charter of Local Self-Government, is one of the most important and, at the same time, complex issues of Ukraine’s development as a democratic state. It is well known that the key element of local self-government is territorial communities which efficiency influences the development of the country.

Problem setting. Public administration in Ukraine is an integral part of social system, but it needs to be modernized efficiently. This implies the need for a deep understanding of the current situation and a thorough analysis of the main factors of this development, especially socio-cultural ones.

Problem setting. The status of the state and private partnership in Ukraine and the prospects of its development under conditions of the healthcare reform were examined. The cooperation of the state and private sector becomes increasingly important in a social sense, however the existing practice does not demonstrate the efficiency of the fulfillment of the assigned tasks. The conducted analysis allowed to determine the risks and problems of the implementation of the state and private partnership in the sphere of healthcare under current conditions in Ukraine.

The article states that given the numerous socio-economic problems of modern development of Ukraine, the question of the existence of problems of practical activities of the national elite in Ukraine, because any socio-economic development of the population directly depends on its leaders, who through their functions determine key directions and strategies of socio-economic development and are the subjects of state formation processes.

The article identifies the main conditions and problems of introducing energy-efficient technologies for business in Ukraine and considers the design experience of building green commercial buildings that have been erected in recent years (innovative parks UNIT.City in Kiev and LvivTech.City in Lviv, on the Sobachie mouth peninsula, Astarta Business Center in Kiev, etc.) It has been established that the main problem of introducing energy-efficient technologies in public commercial projects is the insufficient participation of the state in financing and stimulating business.
