The article is devoted to the study of theoretical and practical aspects of using Industry 4.0 technologies and digital transformation in the agricultural sector enterprises. The article investigates the relevance of the implementation of management accounting systems using information technology. Digitalization and digital transformation significantly influence business processes, accounting procedures, and the enterprise management system in general. It is established that management accounting is an information base for the use of information by management in making managerial decisions and assessing the results of economic activity. Therefore, the relevance, efficiency, timeliness, and interpretation of data are impossible without its automation.
This article examines the concept of digitalization and its implementation at an enterprise in order to increase its competitiveness on the market. A content analysis of the term “digitalization” was carried out. Under his own vision of the term “digitalization” is understood the process of using, systematizing, and processing incoming information in a digital format and as a result of improving customer service in the business environment.
