Development of geomagnetic field induction module maps for the territory of Ukraine

Knowledge of Ukraine`s geomagnetic field is based on magnetic surveys of the geomagnetic field induction module B and its power and angular components, as well as on observations or calculations of their anomalous values. The article describes the methods for constructing a digital map of the induction module of the geomagnetic field B.

Investigations of anomalous magnetic field and its dynamics upon the oil and gas deposits of Bilche-Volycka zone

The results of geomagnetic observations in hydrocarbons deposits zones in the NW part of the Carpathian foredeep’s Bilche-Volycka zone were studied. Peculiarities of local magnetic field and its dynamic temporal variations were investigated. It was stated that upon oil and gas deposits are observed static and dynamic local anomalies connected with supervising tectonic displacements. The conclusion about genetic correlation between local anomalies and oil-and-gas content in the investigated deposits was done.

Peculiarities of the anomalous magnetic field in the areas of hydrocarbon fields in the Carpathian foredeep

Purpose. Identifying of anomalous magnetic field peculiarities upon oil-and-gas bearing structures in the Carpathian Feoredeep and its relationships with oil and gas deposits. Methodology. Measuring of geomagnetic field T total vector modulus during surface magnetic survey on a geomagnetic profiles network. Measuring of core magnetic susceptibility of searching-prospecting wells. Investigations were done for 9 hydrocarbon deposits and 6 perspective structures in the NW part of Bilche-Volytsa zone, Carpathian Foredeep. Results. The analysis of anomalous magnetic field is shown.
