Визначено античні образи і форми в архітектурі палаців кін. XVIII – поч. XIX ст. Зазначено, що архітектурно-художня система класицизму, зберігаючи в основі та повторюючи стійкі античні образи і форми, утвердилась в композиційних вирішеннях палацових споруд на території України, які довгий проміжок часу передували, співіснуючи паралельно з іншими стильовими течіями. Розвиток стильових тенденцій класицизму в палацовій архітектурі розвивався в контексті загальноєвропейської архітектурної школи та відображав її ідейно-художню різноманітність
