The study is devoted to the development and evaluation of alginate hydrogel plates modified with tea tree and rosemary essential oils as a potential wound treatment material. The introduction of these oils into the hydrogel has led to a significant increase in the antibacterial properties of the hydrogel, making it effective against pathogens. Importantly, the inclusion of essential oils does not impair the physical, mechanical, and operational characteristics of hydrogel plates. The obtained results confirm the prospects of their introduction into medical practice for the effective treatment of wounds.
