The purpose of the study is to construct theoretical functional dependencies of the number of titles of printed press publications on the degree of press freedom and the time factor. Nuclear Blackmail as a Tool of Russian Foreign Policy in the Post-Truth Era

The article examines the peculiarities of nuclear blackmail as a tool of Russia’s foreign policy in the post-truth era and the threat this poses to Ukraine and the international community. It also analyzes the Russian Federation’s legal and regulatory framework in the nuclear sphere, in particular the latest official documents of 2024-2025, which significantly expanded the list of grounds for the use of tactical nuclear weapons a move that directly contradicts the international obligations of the USSR/Russia under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights in inter-state cases concerning the international armed conflict between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, namely in the cases of Ukraine v. Russia (concerning Crimea) (applications Nos. 20958/14, 38334/18) and Ukraine and the Netherlands v. Russia (applications Nos. 43800/14, 8019/16, 28525/20, 11055/22).
