METHODS USED IN THE FORMATION OF THE TRADITIONAL CHARACTER OF THE HISTORICAL ENVIRONMENT OF CATHEDRAL SQUARE IN ODESSA (UKRAINE) WITH THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE LOST OBJECT OF CULTURAL HERITAGE – TRANSFIGURATION CATHEDRAL

In 1936, in Odessa, the largest temple of the North-Western Black Sea region,
the Transfiguration Cathedral on Cathedral Square, was barbarously destroyed. By this time,
the Cathedral had undergone the robbery of valuables, legalized by the Soviet state, with the
destruction of relics. Since 1991, on an initiative basis, the creative team of architects and
students of the Odessa Civil Engineering Institute began to collect initial data and develop a

The article examines the current state and prospects of Ukrainian European integration from the point of view of approximation of Ukrainian legislation to the legislation of the European Union, making appropriate changes in the regulatory framework of Ukraine and their implementation. Based on revealed archive sources the typology of buildings, designed by him, is defined, the authorship of separate dwelling houses and religious buildings is ascertained, the peculiarities of the creative approach to their design are analyzed.

It is alleged that social networks have become an innovative digital policy tool and have changed the perception of political processes.

The paper is based on English language book editions printed in the USA during 1920-1930s about Ukraine, or
where Ukraine been mentioned. It deals with non-fiction publications by the Ukrainian diaspora in the US, the books of
American authors, and editions translated from other languages into English. Ukraine was mentioned in a general history
books about Europe during and after World War I, and also in a writings dedicated to the situation in the USSR.
