The architectural design of animal spaces is an increasingly important area of research and practice that aims to create comfortable and safe living conditions for animals in a variety of contexts, including animal shelters, farm animal enclosures, and zoo enclosures. However, designing animal-friendly spaces requires a thorough understanding of animal behavior, physiology and welfare, and the incorporation of appropriate design elements and materials.

Public regulation of the enforcement of housing rights of Ukrainian citizens

The article elaborates on the application of public management mechanisms for enforcing housing rights of citizens, and identifies key directions for the application of public management mechanisms for enhancing the national housing policy to ensure proper exercising of citizens’ housing rights.

TYPES OF HOUSING AND INDUSTRIAL INSTITUTIONS FOR THE HOMELESS IN FOREIGN PRACTICE

Examples of designing institutions for the homeless in foreign practice are considered, which are compared with the results of our sociological study of homeless people in Ukraine. A socio-typological scheme for introducing various types of housing for the homeless is proposed based on the integration of housing units with industrial and educational functions.

THE 1960s-70s CITY DISTRICTS IN EVALUATIONS AND PREFERENCES OF THE RESIDENTS

It is considered living conditions,  including yards, residential houses and flats, in morally outdated city districts whichwereconstructed in the 1960s-70s.There are results of the survey which was carried out online and with personal interviewing of the  residents of the districts in June 2019 in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kolomyia.The most widespread problems of the districtshave been identified as well asthe recommendations on their solving have been made in accordance with their importance.

SPECIFICS OF LIVING ENVIRONMENT DEVELOPMENT IN THE DOWNTOWN AREAS

The article considers features of residential architecture in the downtown areas of large cities. Described are the main problems in the organization of comfortable living conditions and trends of its resolving in modern construction and reconstruction. The article analyzes the establishment of the living environment in the conditions of high urban density and the problem of ensuring standard of living. Today, one of the most intensive construction activity in large cities is situated in the downtown areas.

У статті описано розроблені автором принципи архітектурно-планувальної організації нових житлових будинків у історично сформованій забудові міста, визначено пріоритетний контингент мешканців, а відтак і домінуючу номенклатуру житлових одиниць та додаткових послуг у житловому будинку. Представлено типи житлових одиниць для проектування у сформованій забудові центру міста, що відповідають різним соціальним потребам споживачів, віковим групам населення і чисельним складам сім’ї.

Methodological Approaches to Determining the Monopolisation Level of Primary Residential Real Estate Regional Markets in Ukraine

In this article the author investigates the typology and main characteristics of the markets and provides the definition of the concept of "competition". Several methodological approaches were suggested in order to determine the magnitude of the monopolisation level of primary residential real estate regional markets as well as the market share belonging to a certain construction company.
