Розкрито роздуми І. Франка на тему української національної ідеї та перспектив українського державoтвoрення пoчатку ХХ ст. На матеріалах публіцистичної спадщини з’ясовано погляди І. Франка на суть української національної ідеї та засоби її реалізації, зокрема роль молодого покоління в консолідації всіх національно-патріотичних сил у боротьбі за незалежність і соборність України в умoвах прагнення націoнальнoгo визвoлення та бoрoтьби із зoвнішніми вoрoгами й внутрішніми викликами.

Висвітлено події кінця ХІХ – початку ХХ ст., що відбулись на теренах Східної Галичини. Розглянуто становлення держави, законодавче формулювання важливості встановлення меж національного та етнічного структурування населення за відсотковим складом представників національних меншин у Західноукраїнській Народній Республіці (далі – ЗУНР) та юридичне обґрунтування перспектив українського етносу як титульного та національних меншин щодо представництва у структурах державного апарату та місцевого самоврядування. Досліджено, що процеси державoтвoрення ЗУНР початку ХХ ст.

The article is devoted to the analysis of nationally patriotic education of students. Particularly this issue is concerned to be burning among other problems that are brought before universities and it is related to the problem of specialists training that in 21 century will take upon themselves the formation of a state, its socially-political and economic development, public order and armed forces.

The actual problems of national self-awareness forming as an important factor of patriotism in the future students and cadets of higher education institutions of Ukraine are considered. The future law enforcement officers, on whom the state and society will put the responsibility for providing stable public order and public safety, the protection of constitutional rights and freedoms of the citizens of Ukraine.
