The article considers the problem of ontological justice through the prism of philosophical, legal and moral antinomies. The limits of justice, its manifestations in positive, natural and supernatural law are analyzed. Special attention is paid to heteronomic imperatives [7, p. 202], which form the normative action in society, as well as the potential possibilities of justice, its synergistic nature and spiritual depth. The author substantiates the idea of the incompleteness of the implementation of justice in the real world, emphasizing its transcendental dimension and the need for moral responsibility. The article presents the concept of antinomic justice as a key to a deeper understanding of legal reality in human nature.

Thus, the purpose of this study is to outline the ontological foundations of justice, to reveal its antinomic nature within the framework of positive and natural law, and to analyze the prospect of the supernatural dimension of justice – as a potentiality of force, as an ontological necessity.

In times of legal reforms, global conflicts and spiritual crisis, the question arises especially acutely: is justice the real basis of existence, or only an idealized aspiration of man? In the modern world, where positive law often moves away from the moral dimension, there is a growing need for a deeper philosophical understanding of justice – not as an external prescription, but as an internal existential imperative.

The relevance of the topic is also enhanced by the fact that in conditions of deformation of legal consciousness, corruption and formal law enforcement, justice is reduced to efficiency or legality, which is not always identical to moral truth. Positive law, despite its legitimate principles, often comes into conflict with society’s idea of “true justice”, which indicates a deep ontological gap between the form and content of law.

This topic is of particular relevance for Ukraine, which is experiencing a process of rethinking values, a struggle for identity and an attempt to renew legal culture. In this context, addressing the problem of ontological justice is not only philosophically justified, but also socially necessary. This is a call to search for truth that is not limited to the normative shell, but permeates human existence itself.

In addition, the scientific community is increasingly raising issues of the synthesis of the philosophy of law, theology and social anthropology. The concept of justice is losing its one-dimensionality and requires rethinking through the prism of antinomic thinking, where contradiction is not avoided, but its deep ontological nature is recognized.
