The issue of industrial water treatment and food waste disposal is particularly relevant, especially for the alcohol industry. The problem of wastewater treatment and waste accumulation in the process of alcohol production is due to high chemical and biological oxygen demand, specific colour and odour, a large number of suspended substances, low pH. Therefore, the choice of promising wastewater treatment technologies is of paramount importance to ensure the ecological safety of the environment.

In Ukraine, there is a problem of environmentally hazardous handling of used packaging of pesticides and other toxic chemicals and hazardous waste which can pose a serious threat to human health and the environment. The paper presents modern methods of disposal of pesticide packaging in the world and the situation in Ukraine. The Ukrainian and world environmental legislations regulating the problem of pesticide packaging management are analyzed. The scheme of processing and disposal of pesticide containers is proposed.

The article deals with the main scientific priorities of the development of environmental research in Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies under the leadership of the Head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Technologies, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Krusir G.V.

The existing conceptual approaches to assessment of the environmental security of the Eastern Carpathians have been analyzed. The original vision of the mechanism for maintaining sustainable development in the Pokutsko-Bukovinian Carpathians mountain ecosystem is proposed. The methodological approach used to determine the ecological status and the level of environmental safety of mountain areas is based on the use of sanitary-ecological indicators as sensitive determiners of environmental changes under the influence of the anthropogenic factor.

Стаття присвячена питанням адміністративної відповідальності за порушення
екологічної безпеки в Чорнобильській зоні відчуження, окресленню її загальної
характеристики, аналізу нормативно-правових актів на предмет їх відповідності
реаліям сьогодення та розробці можливих шляхів і напрямків удосконалення
законодавства.

In Ukraine, there is still a great number of unused, unidentified and substandard pesticide preparations (PPs) and other toxic substances which have an extremely dangerous impact on humans and other living ecosystems and the environment. Besides, more than 75 thousand tons of pesticides are imported and produced annually in Ukraine, but some of them are not used during the period of their suitability.

Досліджено підвищення рівня екологічної безпеки гідросфери в результаті удосконалення адсорбційних процесів очищення стічних та шахтних вод від забруднень із застосуванням природних сорбентів та процесів знесолювання електродіалізом. Встановлені оптимальні параметри удосконалення процесів сорбції забруднень природними сорбентами. Механізм дифузії досліджений методом «кінетичної пам‘яті». Визначені ефективні коефіцієнти внутрішньої дифузії в процесі сорбції забруднень природними сорбентами.

З’ясувано значення адміністративно-правового забезпечення для розвитку,
стимулювання, покращення стану екологічної безпеки в Україні, місця адмі-
ністративно-правових норм у регулюванні екологічних відносин. Особливу увагу
звернено на визначення проблем у сфері гарантування екологічної безпеки.
Виокремлено напрями підвищення ефективності адміністративно-правового гаранту-
вання екологічної безпеки в Україні та представлено їхній аналіз. Зважаючи на
виникнення нових викликів та загроз екологічній безпеці, наведено пропозицію

The article considers an actual but not sufficiently developed problem of attractiveness for the subjects of entrepreneurial activity of adsorption extraction of Nickel ions (II) by bentonite clays. The basic social and psychological mechanisms for the adoption of environmentally-oriented activities are analyzed. The styles of entrepreneurs’ response to the attractiveness of adsorption extraction of Nickel ions (II) by bentonite clays are characterized. The process of sorption of Nickel ions (II) with a fixed layer of sorbent by bentonite clays is investigated.

На нафтопереробних заводах утворюється значна кількість стічних вод технологічного і нетехнологічного походження, які містять вуглеводні. Залежно від продуктивності, сировини, асортименту продукції та особливостей технології характеристики промислових стічних вод можуть змінюватися в широких межах. Беручи до уваги те, що в багатьох місцях бракує доступної сирої води, а також той факт, що типовий нафтопереробний завод генерує від 0,3 до 5 м3 стічних вод на тонну переробленої нафти, повторне використання очищених стічних вод нафтопереробного заводу є особливо актуальним.
