Improvement of legal regulation providing administrative services

The article addresses the problem of improving the legal regulation of administrative services in Ukraine in the context of adapting national legislation to the European Union. Analyzes the concept of “administrative services”, the ratio of administrative and public services, the principles of administrative services, standardization in this area, the administrative and legal regulation of administrative services, directions of improvement of legislation aimed at improving quality.

Development of the provision of electronic administrative services: regulatory aspect

In the article the fall of regulation on the development of the provision of electronic administrative services in Ukraine in the context of the experience of e-government in the member states of the European Union. On the basis of the legislation of Ukraine and other normative acts reveal the essence of the provision of administrative services in electronic form of electronic interaction between authorities determined the problems arising in consequence of the use of information and communication technologies.

Harmonization legislation of Ukraine and European Union about administrative responsibility in the area of labor migration

The article deals with the theoretical and practical aspects of regulation of administrative responsibility in the sphere of labor migration. Analyzes of administrative violations in the sphere of labor migration provided by law. We consider some aspects of harmonization of national legislation on administrative responsibility to the legislation of the Member States of the European Union. The identified issues and proposed ways to improve the regulatory framework.

Reinforcing the Eastern Partnership Influence on the Transformation of Ukraine

In the article, the authors analyze Ukraine in the context of the Eastern Partnership. It is pointed out that Ukraine needs to modernize the economy and strengthen its position both in the Eastern European market and in the European Union. The authors of the article emphasize that Ukraine should implement institutional reforms and rationally manage the funds raised from the European Union. It is also considered that in order to attract more investors Ukraine must also create good conditions for foreign investors to increase their (and thus the state’s) income.

Comparative Analysis of the European Security Strategy(2003) and Global Strategy of the European Unity (2016)

In this article, the authors carried out a comparative analysis of the European Security Strategy (2003) and Global Strategy of the European Union (2016) in order to track the evolution of perception of threats and challenges to the international system. This comparison answers a number of scientific questions. In particular: Are security risks in Europe, published in 2003, still relevant? Have the methods and means of combating difficulties changed for 13 years? Which methods were decisive? Is the EU’s security strategy, despite some cosmetic changes, still relevant?

Problems and Challenges of the US Social Policy in the Context of Migration Crisis

Problems and challenges of EU social policy in the context of migration crisis are considered in the article. An attitude of individual member states to the migration crisis in Europe is researched. It has been determined that nowadays EU social policy remains a vulnerable area that requires a comprehensive unified approach and appropriate support to all its member states.

Energy diplomacy as an important aspect of state's foreing policy: European experience for Ukrainians

The article considers a notion of energy diplomacy and peculiarities of its conduction, defines primary tasks for development of energy diplomacy in the foreign policy of Ukraine. With the help of historical, systemic, and structural functional methods, it is revealed that interstate collaboration in the form of energy diplomacy pursues the national interest of a state through applying a wide range of classical and specific foreign policy actions, and creates additional means of counteracting global contemporary challenges connected with the energy sector.

In the article the problem of banking secrecy in the European Union in the context of the international system of exchange of information of a financial nature directed at countering terrorist financing and money laundering illegally obtained. From the standpoint of information law deals with theoretical aspects of national legislation on banking secrecy and the introduction of a single global standard for automatic exchange of information about income taxpayers.

Migration crisis in the EU: security of external borders at stake and inter-ethnic relationships aggravating

This article covers the problem of the current migration crisis in the EU countries. Special focus is placed on analyzing problems with the security of EU external borders and aggravating inter-ethnic conflicts. The author notes that the migration wave brings along the problem of the integration of migrants in European societies, revives the ethnocentric rhetoric of many European politicians. Further, the theory of multiculturalism is criticized, anti-Islamic sentiment is intensifying, ultra-right and nationalist parties are developing in European countries.

The Asean and the EU in comparison: geoeconomic and institutional aspects

The author of the article compares the indexes of separate components of geoeconomic and institutional potential of the ASEAN and the European Union. The role of these integrational unions is determined in regional and global dimensions. Problematic aspects and main differences in functioning of the ASEAN and the EU are defined. On the basis of comparative analysis of macroeconomic indexes of the ASEAN and the EU, considerable achievements of the ASEAN were stated.
