ASSESSMENT OF THE PRODUCTION AND EXPORT-IMPORT POTENTIAL OF THE SUGAR MARKET

The purpose. The aim of the study is to investigate the trends in the development of the sugar market in Ukraine, taking into account the trends in the global sugar market.
The objectives of the study are as follows:
– to analyse certain parameters of the global sugar market;
–- studying the specifics of the sugar market in Ukraine and its export-import potential in the context of macroeconomic and geopolitical disturbances;
– studying the impact of the beet industry on the efficiency of the sugar market in Ukraine.

STUDY OF EXPORT AND IMPORT POTENTIAL OF THE SALT MARKET IN UKRAINE

Purpose. Objective of the work – to study the state and development trends of the salt market in Ukraine and its place in the global salt market in the context of increasing competition in times of turmoil. Tasks of the work – to analyze the dynamics of global salt production in general and across leading countries; to identify the specifics of export-import activities by salt-producing countries; to determine the position of Ukraine's salt market in the global salt market during the war.

Labeling requirements as one of the tools for non-tariff regulation of imports of Ukrainian food products to China

The article analyzes the dynamics and structure of international trade in Ukrainian food products with China. The opportunities of Ukrainian food producers to meet the demand of Chinese consumers are considered. The tools of the Chinese non-tariff trade policy regarding the import of food products (licenses, certificates of quality or compliance, certificates of origin, quality standards, requirements for packaging and labeling, legislative acts, sanitary and phytosanitary requirements) and their impact on trade with Ukraine are determined.

Foreign Trade Relations Between Ukraine and China: Main Directions of Development

The article is devoted to the problems of developing foreign trade relations between Ukraine and China, as China ranks first in terms of trade among other trade partners of Ukraine. The article analyzes the reasons for China’s interest in Ukraine and possible benefits for our country. The countries’ export, import, foreign trade turnover, and foreign trade balance indicators are studied. The calculated indicators allowed us to state a positive trade balance for most goods, which indicates the advantage of exports over imports.

Assessing the Effectiveness of Foreign Economic Activities Management on the Basis of Target Indicators

The concepts of “effect”, “efficiency” and “effectiveness” were considered. It is noted that efficiency is a broader concept because it does not take into account the achievement of individual results, in contrast to the concept of “effectiveness”. The main key groups of indicators that are most often used in assessing the effectiveness of foreign economic activity management are presented.

Qualitative changes in market and investment environment of domestic enterprises and marketing of their problem of domestic and foreign markets sales

The article given characteristic qualitative changes in the market environment, operation and development of Ukrainian business. The attention is focused on strengthening the process of European integration, accumulation of external and internal threats, requiring significant changes in the marketing policy of companies and their activities on domestic and foreign markets. Identified causes of low efficiency of Ukrainian companies in the EU markets after entering the country for zero duties for exports.
