The paper emphasis on the importance of Informatics in shaping of students’ knowledge, skills and competences, which are required for the effective use of new information and communication technologies in teaching and learning (and later professional ) activities, daily life, it is singled out the features of the course “Informatics “and noted the practical results achieved in teaching the subject.
Modern development of society places new requirements on the educational technology processes. These requirements include the development of new approaches to learning, knowledge representation techniques, teaching logic of it’s transmission and control, principles structuring educational contents disciplines and methods of use of modern e-learning, namely the development of new learning technologies. Economic sphere, at the moment, this is one of those areas that needs competent professionals at all levels.

Described the new features of VNS LP (Moodle) version 2.0. Shown two ways to solve the main problem that arose in some courses after update VNS LP version from 1.9.x to 2.0.x, namely trouble opening resources with direct links to the file.

Показано послідовність задач, які необхідні для реалізації інформаційного середовища та результати їх вирішення. In the article the implementation of the information environment to support the learning process of the University is presented. A sequence of tasks that need to implement the information environment and the results of their decision are displaying.
Проаналізовано доцільність застосування кросвордів у навчальному процесі вищої школи. Розглянуто особливості створення кросворду за допомогою модуля JCross програми Hot Potatoes та проблеми його інтеґрації у Moodle. Effectuality of crossword using in higher education is analyzed. Features of Hot Potatoes JCross application for the crossword generation and problems of its integration with Moodle are under consideration.
