Statement of the problem. Ukraine is presently going through a severe structural crisis. Consolidating its populace on the foundation of efficient public administration in the area of Ukrainian national identity formation will enable its escape. To date, there is a need to determine the theoretical foundations of public administration in the field of the formation of national identity. Its goal is to unite Ukrainian society, which is now split along regional, racial, religious and social lines.

This article explores the determinants of peculiarities of public management of ethno-political relations within a multiethnic society. The article defines the problematic points and key tasks of public ethno-policy aimed at harmonizing interethnic relations, interethnic interaction and national consolidation.

This article explores the ideological and narrative foundations of various forms of architectural historicism, marked by the identities manifestation which emerged in the era of modern nations appearance. The difference between the concepts of the three national communities - Ukrainian, Polish and Russian and how these concepts were conveyed with the help of architectural stylistics is outlined.

The urgency of the problem mentioned in the heading lies in the growing interest in the “national side” of the problem of understanding the experience of becoming a Ukrainian state, in particular, in the ideological dimension: the formation of the Ukrainian (political) nation, the origins and evolution of the ideas of the Ukrainian national statehood, the views of scientists-researchers of the Ukrainian “national problematics”.

approaches to the essence of the concept of “nation”, its content and volume, the time of
appearance, as well as the relationship with the concepts of “ethnos” and “people”. It is
emphasized that the concept of “nation” most often correlates with the concepts of “ethnos”
and “people”. The idea is that the nation is a people that is exalted by the stockpile of state
forces, endowed with the ability to identify and separate from other nations the state borders,

Висвітлено панівні у вітчизняній та світовій науковій думці підходи щодо сутності
поняття «нація», його змісту й обсягу, часу появи, а також взаємозв’язку з поняттями
«етнос» і «народ». Наголошено на тому, що поняття «нація» найчастіше корелює з
поняттями «етнос» і «народ». Висловлено думку, що нація – це народ, піднесений
запасом державницьких сил, наділений змогою до самоідентифікації й відмежування від
інших націй державними кордонами, а також - інтегрування інших націй до складу своєї
держави на правах національних меншин.

The problem of protecting freedom, independence and sovereignty in the philosophical, political and legal concepts of the great German philosopher GVF Hegel. One of the genial features of patriarch of Ukrainian national aspiration and his role as creator of history-ownership of selfless talent to communicate and to manage the history of nation by the word is considered in this article. Spaces in scientific reseaches of his patrimony need to be overcome for a new features of portrait of M. Gryshevskiy in the context of objective assessments him as the master of awakening of Ukrainian society by dialog with them.
