Corruption undermines citizens' faith in a democratic, independent, law-abiding, and European Ukraine. It negatively affects the country's international image and is the most serious offense in the context of contemporary challenges related to Russian aggression and the protection of national security. The key to successfully overcoming this destructive and harmful phenomenon is an effective combination of measures to prevent and combat corruption, as well as the involvement of the public as an agent in the fight against corruption. The article analyzes the importance of intensifying cooperation between society and the state in the context of preventing and combating corruption in Ukraine. In particular, it is noted that civil society institutions should be actively involved in this process, for example, through participation in the formation of anti-corruption policy and further monitoring of the implementation of measures of the state anti-corruption program. Various forms of civil society activity in the field of countering corruption are identified, such as monitoring, public control, and educational activities. The analysis reveals internal reasons for the limited use of the potential of civil society institutions in the fight against corruption in Ukraine. The article examines the procedure for forming, the main tasks, and the status of implementation of the State Anti-Corruption Program and anti-corruption programs of the executive authorities of Ukraine. Attention is focused on the fact that public monitoring of the implementation of measures under the State Anti-Corruption Program in Ukraine plays an important role in ensuring transparency, openness, and accountability in the fight against corruption. This mechanism allows citizens to actively participate in the process of monitoring the activities of state bodies and to demand the implementation of anti-corruption measures. The prospects for the development and improvement of anti-corruption policy in Ukraine largely depend on the effectiveness of public monitoring. It is important to ensure the availability of information on the implementation of anti-corruption measures, develop mechanisms for involving the public in the monitoring process, and improve cooperation between civil society organizations, state structures, and international partners. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen cooperation between the public sector, business, and government authorities to implement joint efforts in the fight against corruption. It is important to ensure the independence and effective work of anti-corruption bodies that monitor compliance with the law. The overall goal is to create a stable and transparent system of anti-corruption measures that would help reduce the risks of corruption, improve conditions for business, and ensure the country's development based on the principles of honesty and openness.
