SELECTION OF INSULATION MATERIALS FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF HISTORICAL BUILDINGS ACCORDING TO THEIR THERMAL CHARACTERISTICS

Preserving historical heritage is one of the most difficult challenges of our time. The issue of integrating the latest technologies to achieve energy balance lies at the intersection of architecture, building physics, and cultural heritage. Every year, the problem of finding a balance between authenticity and thermal modernization becomes more acute, shaping a field of scientific research in which there is an increasing search for interdisciplinary approaches.

Mathematical modeling of heat and mass transfer processes in a reciprocating engine of a vehicle with a hybrid powertrain

Automotive transport plays a crucial role in the functioning and development of any country's economy. In Ukraine, it accounts for over half of passenger transportation and three-quarters of freight transportation. A promising development direction is using electric and hybrid vehicles in transportation logistics. It also fosters advancements in battery production technologies, components of hybrid power units, recycling, and the country's transportation infrastructure.

ENERGY SAVING PRINCIPLES OF RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS IN THE URBAN PLANNING ASPECT

The process of intensive industrialisation in the West, and later in many other countries around the world, has led to a number of economic and environmental challenges. According to rough estimates, at the current rate of growth of the world's population, basic energy resources will become increasingly scarce. The main amount of these energy resources is used for heat and power supply to buildings and structures of various purposes, depending on their use. Residential buildings are among the first in the list of such structures.

ENERGY RECUPERATION IN ELECTRIC VEHICLES: PROCESS OPTIMIZATION AND IMPACT ON RANGE

Energy recuperation is crucial to optimizing electric vehicles' efficiency and driving range (EVs). This study models and analyzes the recuperation process under real-world driving conditions, considering key factors such as driving style, road slopes, and traffic conditions. A comparative simulation was conducted using two approaches: one incorporating driving styles and traffic light influences and another assuming uniform energy consumption.

HOUSINGS OF THE MID-19th - BEGINNING OF THE 20th CENTURY: PECULIARITIES OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENT IN HISTORIC RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS

The paper presents the history of the formation of historical residential buildings in Ukraine and analyzes the reasons for the dense development of historical neighborhoods.

REDUCING THE COMPUTATIONAL COMPLEXITY OF FINITE IMPULSE RESPONSE FILTERS IN INTEGRATED SYSTEMS

The problem of optimizing finite impulse response (FIR) digital filters is relevant in the context of limited computational resources of embedded systems. Existing methods for implementing FIR filters often lead to significant energy consumption and processing time, which limits their application in real-world conditions. The objective of this work is to develop methods for optimizing FIR filters to reduce computational complexity and ensure efficient operation on embedded systems with limited resources.

HYBRID DRONES WITH DUCTED AND ASYMMETRIC PROPELLERS: EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES AND APPLICATION PROSPECTS

This article presents a comprehensive analysis of hybrid unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) equipped with ducted and asymmetric propellers. The results of experimental studies confirm the advantages of using these types of propellers regarding aerodynamic efficiency, energy efficiency, noise reduction, and improved maneuverability. The possibility of combining asymmetric propellers with ducted designs, as well as their impact on thrust, flight stability, and other flight characteristics of drones, is examined in detail.
