Anomalous Sorption of Yttrium Ions by the Mutual Activated Hydrogels in the Interpolymer System of Poly(Methacrylic Acid) and Poly(4-Vinylpyridine)

This paper considers the effect of mutual activation of poly(methacrylic acid) (PMAA) and poly-(4 vinylpyridine) (P4VP) hydrogels during their remote interaction on the degree of yttrium ions sorption from an aqueous medium. Electrochemical properties were studied by conductometry and pH measurements to predict the activation possibility of these hydrogels. pH measurements showed that at 0.1 hour, the pH values were the lowest, indicating a high content of H+ ions in the aqueous solution.

Hydrogels Based on Natural Polymers for Cardiac Applications

In this work agar- and borax-based hydrogels with and without the addition of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) at different concentrations were synthesized. Hydrogels were modified by the same amount of acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) which exhibits antithrombotic properties. The effect of modification by ASA on the properties of hydrogels was analyzed.

Investigation of the Sorption Capacity of Polyvinylpyrrolidone Copolymers As the Basis of Hydrogel Cosmetic Masks with Plant Biomass Extracts

The possibility of using hydrogels based on copolymers of polyvinylpyrrolidone with 2 hydroxyethylmethacrylate to saturate them with plant extracts was established. Hydrogel materials were obtained with extracts of Calendula officinalis and Arnica montana. The sorption capacity of the hydrogels regarding the extract data was determined.

A NEW OBTAINING METHOD OF TUBULAR PRODUCTS BASED ON POLYMER GELS

The method for obtaining composite hydrogel tubular products with the increased strength on the basis of copolymers of 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate with polyvinylpyrrolidone has been developed. The method consists in the formation of hydrogel tubes with a subsequent precipitation from the solution into their outer surface of the reinforced layer based on polyamide, modified with polyvinylpyrrolidone.

Formation Features of Tubular Products on the Basis of Composite Hydrogels

The method for obtaining composite hydrogel tubular products with the increased strength on the basis of copolymers of 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate with polyvinylpyrrolidone has been developed. STRUCTURE FORMATION PECULIARITIES OF NICKEL-FILLED POLYVINYLPYRROLIDONE COPOLYMERS DURING POLYMERIZATION WITH SIMULTANEOUS Ni2+ REDUCTION

The course of the grafted polymerization of 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate on polyvinylpyrrolidone with the formation of a reticulated copolymer with simultaneously chemical reduction of nickel ions is confirmed. The influence of the reduction process on the structural parameters of the polymeric matrix – the grafting efficiency and the content of polyvinylpyrrolidone in the copolymer, the molecular weight between crosslinks is established. The influence of the presence of polymer-monomer composition components on the particles formation of nickel filler is investigated.

Аntibacterial activity of hydrogel materials based on copolymers polyvinylpirrolidon with extracts of Сalendula officinalis and Аrnica Montana

The possibility of using hydrogels, that are based on copolymers of polyvinylpyrrolidone with 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate for saturation them with extracts of plants, was researched. Hydrogel materials with extracts of Calendula officinal is and Arnica montana were obtained. The sorption capacity of the hydrogels in relation to these extracts and the content of flavonoids in the extracts were determined  by using Ulab108UV.

The synthesis and investigation of swelling hydrogels composite filling by gelatin

Hydrogels are one of the perspective classes of polymer systems that embrace numerous biomedical and pharmaceutical applications. Hydrogels have become very popular due to its unique properties such as high water content, softness, elasticity and biocompatibility. Natural and synthetic hydrophilic polymers can be physically or chemically crosslinked to obtain hydrogels. Their resemblance to living tissue opens up many possibilities for applications in biomedical fields.

APPLICATION OF PEROXIDATED POLYESCARIDES FOR THE OBTAIN OF HYDROGEL COMPOSITES

Today in the world deepened researches on the synthesis and study of theproperties of hydrogel materials are held due to their promising use in many fields,in particular in pharmaceutics, electronic devices and engineering, biomedicine, bioengineering. Physico-chemical properties of hydrogels, so the spheres of theirpossible use are determined by the nature of the polymer, the degree of structuring, the ratio of components of the polymer: water.
