Comparative and legal analysis of crimes against national security in the criminal codes of Ukraine and Poland

The article presents a comprehensive comparative legal analysis of crimes against national security according to the criminal codes of Ukraine and Poland. The authors analyze the common approaches of the legislator of countries to the criminalization of socially dangerous acts in the relevant field, the differences in these approaches. Based on the analysis of the current criminal code of the Republic of Poland, the authors propose a number of new norms for a special part of the Ukrainian criminal law. The paper describes, interprets, and characterizes the results of elections to the European Parliament in Poland based on the voting behaviour of the Ukrainian national minority. In the article, four European elections 2004, 2009, 2014, and 2019 were considered.

Formation of Educational Emigration Management Fundamentals in Ukraine

The issue of educational emigration of Ukrainians — going to study abroad to study in the European Universities is considered. The aspects of this phenomenon have been studied. The phenomenon of educational emigration of Ukrainians has its positive and negative sides, which, in the current state of affairs, are much more. Given the scale of this phenomenon, as well as its significant potential impact on the country’s economy, it is advisable to form the principles of management of educational emigration from Ukraine, which should at least minimize the negative effects.

The Pandemic of COVID-19 as the Challenge to Ukrainian Migrant Workers in Poland (Research Article)

In the article, the authors analyze the impact of the COVID-19 world pandemic on the employment of Ukrainian migrant workers in Poland. It is noted that the economic situation and the war in the east of Ukraine led to continuous process of labor migration from Ukraine to Poland. The author analyzes basic documents of the migration policy of Ukraine as well as Polish legislation in the field of employment of foreign citizens. It was found that the introduction of quarantine restrictions resulted in mass return of Ukrainian workers from Poland.

The research is devoted to the research of selected issues of the election programs of the victorious political parties in the parliamentary elections in the Western Galicia, i.e. in the Lesser Poland and Transcarpathian voivodeships in the parliamentary elections in 2011.  A comparative analysis of these programs was carried out. The ideological and program determination of Polish political parties was made according to the Comparative Manifesto Project and the ParlGov research project.

The features, challenges and priorities of the Ukrainian community in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship have been analyzed.
