Sociological Information as a Component of Television News (on Materials of the Nationwide Ukrainian Tv Channel “1+1”)

The article covers the results of sociological research in “TSN” news programs on the TV channel “1 + 1” in 2019. Since TV continues to be one of the main sources of information on events in Ukraine and in the world for the vast majority of Ukrainians, it has a significant impact on the formation of public opinion on socially important events. Therefore, it is essential for the media to comply with the requirements for the dissemination of sociological information. Unbiased and accurate sociological information helps the audience to interpret the research findings properly.

Peculiarities of Involvement of Social Networks in the Activities of State Authorities (On the Case of U.S.A. and Ukraine) [Research Article]

It has been analyzed the use of social networks by public authorities in the US and Ukraine in their practical activity and compared the presence of governmental structures of the US and Ukraine on social networks and the number of their followers. It is alleged that social networks have become an innovative digital policy tool and have changed the perception of political processes.

THE IMAGE OF UKRAINE IN THE US PUBLICATIONS of 1920s–1930s

The paper is based on English language book editions printed in the USA during 1920-1930s about Ukraine, or
where Ukraine been mentioned. It deals with non-fiction publications by the Ukrainian diaspora in the US, the books of
American authors, and editions translated from other languages into English. Ukraine was mentioned in a general history
books about Europe during and after World War I, and also in a writings dedicated to the situation in the USSR.

GESAMTKUNSTWERK AS A FORMULA FOR CREATING ARTISTIC CHARACTER IN ARCHITECTURE BY VOLODYMYR POKROVSKY

The concept of architecture as Gesamtkunstwerk exemplifies a model for creating an artistic building’s  character.  This  article  explores  how  it  is  reflected  in  non-ecclesiastical  edifices  of  Volodymyr Pokrovsky (1863–1924) during the cultural Renaissance of the early twentieth century in Ukraine within the context of the fin de siècle’s architecture.

The problems of the treatment of labour migrants as subjects of civil diplomacy of Ukraine and their role in the establishment of the country image and the development of effective and mutually beneficial foreign relations of Ukraine and Italy have been analyzed. It has been emphasized on the social activity of labour migrants from Ukraine in protecting their rights and freedoms in Italy, as well as promoting the image of Ukraine, countering informational propaganda against our state.

Priorities of Ukrainian National Minority Activities in Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship of Republic of Poland (Research Article)

The features, challenges and priorities of the Ukrainian community in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship have been analyzed. Also, it has been investigated the activities of the Ukrainian national minority in this region from the post-war times to the present day. It is alleged about the demand for studying of the problems of the functioning of the Ukrainian national minority in Poland in the regional dimension when it is analyzing the activities of Ukrainian communities located in the certain of the Voivodeships (in this case it is about the Warmian-Masurian).

Training of Ukrainian Waffen-ss Chaplains in Sennheim and Their Duty in 14th Ss-volunteer Division “galicia” (1943–1945)

In the article author researched the background and motives for the establishment of the Chaplaincy service in the 14th SS-Volunteer Division «Galicia» during the Second World War and analyzed the military training of the Chaplain Corps Division. This training took place in the SS-Training Camp Sennheim (Cernay) in 1943 and consisted of a politico- ideological and military training of Ukrainian priests of the Greek Catholic Church. The article also research the status of Ukrainian chaplains in the Waffen-SS and their number — both Greek Catholic and Orthodox.

Each of us who uses any of the gadget types wears an entire information matrix in his pocket, which can be accessed through a touch of the display. The network encourages us to keep the whole world on the tips of our own fingers. At the same time, the presence of a gadget in a pocket allows us to capture those events that appear important, and then place on the relevant web resources. That is, besides the ability to have information, the network allows us to be the latest creators of content.
