ANTHROPOCENTRISM OF CONTEMPORARY CITIES: A NEW PARADIGM OF URBAN STUDIES

The purpose of this article is to highlight the topic of the emotional impact of the environment on society in the context of key research areas of contemporary urbanists. The scientific novelty of this work lies in identifying the main principles of modern urbanistic studies and the prospects for the evolution of urban planning. The article analyzes the characteristics of urban development in the 21st century. It explores the interconnection between urban planning and other scientific fields such as psychology, sociology, and economics.

EVOLUTION OF DEFENSIVE FORTIFICATIONS IN SMALL TOWNS OF VOLYN: FROM WOODEN FORTRESSES TO BASTION SYSTEMS (A CASE STUDY OF DUBNO AND KREMENETS)

The article explores the evolution of defensive fortifications in small towns of Volyn, using the examples of Dubno and Kremenets. It analyzes the transition from wooden fortifications to masonry bastion systems, influenced by changes in military strategy, construction technologies, and the political situation in the region. Significant attention is given to urban planning features, the role of fortifications in shaping city structures, and their adaptation to the natural landscape.

ANALYSING THE CURRICULUM OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ARCHITECTURE LVIV POLYTECHNIC NATIONAL UNIVERSITY FOR THE ACADEMIC YEARS OF 1919–1939

The article is devoted to outlining the general trends in the formation of architectural education at the Architecture Department of Lviv Polytechnic in the interwar period (1919-1939). Based on historical and statistical analysis, 21 educational programmes of Lviv Polytechnic, published in 1919-1939, were examined.

ARCHITECTURAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMPLEX OF THE ANCIENT MONASTERY OF THE SHOED CARMELITES IN THE CITY OF LVIV

Relevance of the topic: In the heart of Lviv, there is a preserved 17th-century building — a monastery with cells, three stories high with basements, which is not listed as an architectural monument. The historic building has not been the subject of scientific architectural study. There are no measurements of the object. The cell building was part of a large complex of buildings belonging to the former Catholic monastery of the Shoed Carmelite Order in the city of Lviv.

PREFERENCES OF POTENTIAL BUILDERERS REGARDING ARCHITECTURAL, CONSTRUCTIVE AND TECHNOLOGICAL SYSTEMS FOR SINGLE-FAMILY HOUSES

The selection of architectural-structural-technological systems (ASTS) for single-family housing is of critical importance, as it determines the further development of design, construction, and operation of the building.

Today, the market is saturated with various new materials that have not yet been fully studied and are only beginning to gain momentum in the construction sector of our country. While this positively influences the development of the construction industry, it simultaneously complicates the selection of appropriate materials.

FORMING AND DEVELOPMENT OF HEALTH RESORTS IN GALICIA UNTIL 1939

The article examines the formation and development of health resorts in Galicia until 1939, specifically analyzing the resort centers of Yaremche, Kosiv, Tatariv, Morshyn, Velykyi Liubin, Nemyriv. The problem statement is driven by the need for a comprehensive study of the architectural features of these establishments, their impact on the spatial development of the region, and their role in shaping the resort network of Galicia.

PRESERVATION AND USE OF THE DEFENSE TOWERS OF THE OLD CITY OF KAMIANETS-PODILSKYI

The subject of the study is the preservation and use of defensive towers of the Old City of Kamianets-Podilskyi. Most of the defense towers are on the balance sheet of the National Historical and Architectural Preserve «Kamyanets» and are included in the tourist infrastructure of the city. The location of some of them in hard-to-reach places makes it difficult for tourists to see and visit, which requires finding new approaches to their revalorization.

DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AND ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES OF THE STAROKOSTYANTYNIV TOWN HALL

A collection of historical information and features of the layout of Starokostyantyniv downtown were considered. Three stages of the layout of Starokostyantyniv downtown were identified, the layout and facade of the town hall were analyzed and reconstructed. The first stage (the beginning of the 16th century – 1561) is associated with the development of the village of Kolyshchyntsi.

ARCHITECTURE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A MEDICINE SEARCH SITE USING THE DROGON FRAMEWORK

A new computer program (CP) has been created as a website for ATX classification groups to search for lists of medicinal products (MPs) as potential candidates for import substitution. The development of the CP with the conditional name "Computer Program for Import Substitution of Medicines" (CPISM) was carried out using open databases, which are regulated by the regulatory legal acts of the pharmaceutical industry of Ukraine.
