The article explores migration processes, arising in modern transitive society and differently influencing the development of both donor states and recipient states. Present-day impulsive causes of migration are considered in the article. Peculiarities of contemporary migration processes, taking place in Ukraine, in the context of European integration are studied.

Separately, an analysis of different dialogue courts of law and order in terms of reasoning their decisions. The article describes the main stages of multiculturalism’ formation. Special attention is focused on the evolution of the theory of multiculturalism based on its temporal and political context and the requirements of society. The author examines the influence of the theories of liberalization and communitarism, of “nation-building” and “differentiated citizenship” on the formation of the theory of multiculturalism, cites the views of scientists, analyzes their influence on contemporary multiculturalism.
