Planning to increase the competitiveness of an enterprise is an important factor in ensuring its sustainable development in the context of expanding foreign economic activity. The effective functioning of an enterprise is impossible without a qualitative assessment of the level of its competitiveness, especially in the field of service provision, which is characterized by high variability of characteristics. That is why it is relevant to apply a systematic approach to assessing the competitiveness of services using integral indicators. The purpose of the study is to develop methodological approaches to quantitatively measuring the competitiveness of enterprise services in the context of introducing new types of foreign economic activity.
The main research methods are analysis, generalization, expert assessments, modeling, construction of indicator matrices and calculation of the integral competitiveness coefficient.
A number of tasks were performed during the research:
- the problems of assessing the competitiveness of services are characterized;
- the approaches to building a comparison base and determining benchmarks are systematized;
- an integrated model of assessing competitiveness based on weighted indicators is proposed.
A key element of the model is the calculation of the IFC integral coefficient, which allows for a comprehensive assessment of the level of competitiveness based on parameters that take into account financial stability, quality of management, marketing activities, foreign economic indicators, and other relevant factors.
A high IFC value indicates a high competitiveness and efficiency of the enterprise’s activities in the international market. The introduction of a systematic approach to assessing competitiveness enables an enterprise to identify weaknesses, adapt to changes in the external environment, and form an effective development strategy in the field of foreign economic activity. The results obtained can be the basis for implementing innovative development strategies, expanding the range of services, and improving the image of the enterprise.
