Research interests:

Spatial-temporal structure of tectonic-magnetic variations and their relations with Earth’s crust tectonic and geodynamics were investigated in the Carpathian region. Was founded the network of permanent geomagnetic stations in the Transcarpathian active seismic zone. Also earthquakes precursors were researched. Methodical initials on the base of tectonic-magnetic variations for definition of active faults were theoretically proved and so was founded the method of geophysical dynamic magnetometering. During Ukrainian Antarctic expeditions in the location of Ukrainian Antarctic station “Academic Vernadskij” tectonic-magnetic polygon was founded. On the base of 10 years repeatable observations (1998 – 2017 yrs.) spatial structure of geomagnetic field temporal variations was studied. The tectonic-magnetic Earth’s crust model was composed. Thin structure of anomalous magnetic field in locations of oil and gas deposits in Dnipro-Donetsk Depression was investigated and genetic relations of local magnetic anomalies with oil and gas bearings in the region were defined. Professional interests Secular geomagnetic field’s variations. Investigations of geodynamic processes by geophysical methods. Compilation of secular variations maps with Earth’s magnetic field components. Geomagnetic monitoring and earthquakes precursor’s investigations in the Transcarpatians active seismic zone. Searching of oil and gas deposits by high-accurate magnetometering. Investigations of lithosphere recent dynamics and seismicity. Anomalous magnetic field and magnetic models. Tectonic magnetism and its application for solution of fundamental and applied geophysical problems. Component geophysical observations on seismic-prognoses polygons, magnetic observatories and secular variations points. Magnetic variations observations for studies of geoelectric unconformities and active seismic processes monitoring.
