RESULTS OF SCIENTIFIC WORK The method of optimization of geodetic measurements in networks. Methods implemented in the construction of geodetic network Tereblya-Rikskoyi HPS. In 2003, during the eighth Ukrainian Antarctic expedition built on Argentine Islands geodetic network to study geodynamics tectonical fault of the Penola Strait. As a result of two cycles of GNSS measurements (2003-2005) established the earth surface deformation parameters of the Argentine Islands. Built geodynamic model fault blocks. The theoretical foundations of the earth surface movements of differentiation defined in the time series of GNSS measurements. The model of kinematics motion Antarctic tectonic plate under the influence of various forces. It coordinates the Euler pole Antarctic tectonic plate. Founder and Head of Multifunctional precise satellite positioning system Geoterrace in Western Ukrainian. He published more than 150 scientific works, among others two monographs and 8 patents. FIELD OF PROFESSIONAL INTEREST: Optimization of geodetic networks. Designing high-precision geodetic networks integrated geodetic and GNSS techniques. Research of geodynamic processes geodetic methods. Construction maps of modern movements and deformations of the earth's surface in Europe and of the Carpathian region.Investigation of the kinematics of the Antarctic tectonic plate. Research of geodynamic processes on the Antarctic Peninsula. Investigation of strain engineering construction of energy facilities.
Kornyliy TRETYAK (13 st April 1958), Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. Director of the Institute of Geodesy at Lviv Polytechnic National University. Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology.
Since 1979 he has conducted research in applied geodesy, satellite geodesy and geodynamics. Prof. Doctor of Technical Science in Geodesy from the National University “Lviv Polytechnic”, Ukraine.
